I was responsible for authoring technical documentation for customized software programs. I was also in charge of updating the company’s documentation for new release versions of software. This involved the daily and competent usage of all Microsoft products. Curriculum & Evaluation, Inc. specialized in customized educational software, so I have considerable experience in writing for government organizations. I also proofread material prior to release, and was responsible for editing and proofreading material for the web site, and functioned as webmaster. Because clients used a variety of software programs/platforms, this job required an extensive knowledge of commonly used software programs, and the ability to assist customers in the installation and usage of the company’s software on the customer’s platform.
